I knew that if I posted this in polls and surveys I would get answers.
Okay so I have a 1986 BMW 325i. And lately It has been acting like it is on it last legs, but I don't want to sell it. (for one I've gotten attached to it --its my first car, and two I think that it would be more fun for me to work on it)So the most I have done is change the oil on a car, that is the extent of my automotive matenince abilities, I just need to be told what to do to my car.
So here are the symptoms:
when I shift it into gear (reverse or drive) it will like bounce,
then when I'm driving just altogether it's just loud (or at least louder than a car that size should be) and I don't think it is the exaust because i just had that repaired a couple months ago. And when I floor it when I am on the freeway, or getting on the freeway, it has a bit of a delay(like a second or two).
And the air conditioning doesn't work(but the vent works and the heater works).
So what Do I need to do?

I'm not reading all that! I know there are detailed manuals for every make/model of car. You just gotta go to Autozone or where ever and ask about them. If I'm not mistaken, they have troubleshooting sections.

When you shift and it bounces that is a problem with the transmission. Try changing your transmission fluid, filter and filter screen. The screen should be around $20.

The Loud noise you may need to have a tune up change the shocks, plugs, and all of the filters.

The delay on the freeway the tuneup should take care of that

The AC does not work you will need to repair the seals. There are about six or seven seals. Then replace the Freon.
You gotta replace the seals before the freon. You may need a license to buy the freon.

get a smaller muffler to quiet thecar down ,all cars have a little slag when you axcelerate if its a standard then that bouncing might be the clutch going out, take it to a gargae an have htem check it out, best over all thing then the ycan tell you what you need to be done then you can get the right reading material on how to fix it
