My grandfather tell stories about past laws which is now history. It's unlikely to fly. Too many people rationalize it as too far in the past, and ignore more recent acts of discrimiation.

We as a culture do not do well at dealing with inconvenient injustices.

Reparations would do nothing but divide us further.

Not one single black person alive today deserved reparations. They did not live thru any form of slavery.

They should not be compensated for what happened to ancestors.
