1. Exploring the wreck
dr.robert ballard the explorer who discoverd the Titanci diceded to look for the Lusitania. He wanted to find our what caused the huge explosion onboard the ship. He also wanted to know why it sank so quickly. Using high-technology submarines and robots his crew explored the wreck. What they found was a huge hole in the ship's bow. the hole was right where there were compartements used to store coal, which fueled the ship. and to their amazement the hole looked like it was blasted from th inside out!

Setting Sail on May 7 1915 the british ocean liner Lusitania was sailing off the coast of Ireland. it was on its way from New York to England in world war I was beging fought, but know one though that a submarine would sink an ocean liner filled with passengers. on that day however a submarine lanched a torpedo the Luitania. When the torpedo stuck the ship there was a huge explosion. The ship sank in less than 20 minutes, and many passengers and crew lost
