He shouldn't. Nicklas Backstrom is far better than Ovechkin and has almost as many points. Also take into account that the Caps won 7 of the 10 games Ovechkin missed and got a point in 8 of those games. They also scored more goals without him. The stats clearly show he is not even the MVP on his on team let alone the NHL MVP. The Pens have a chance to repeat only if they don't have to play the Devils or the Caps in the second round. As the playoffs go on the Devils and the Caps will get tired and that will help the Pens. But if luck is not in the Pens favor then I ould say the Devils will go to the Cup and either play the Balckhawks or the Kings.

According to The Hockey News, the Minnesota Wild have the highest winning percentage when Gaborik plays.
So, I'm choosing Marian Gaborik!

Sid is the guy that will put butts in the seats of many arenas and with good reason. He's the best.
Does LeafspwnHabs even know how to skate? You really have some issues. What did Sid do anyways? Steal your gf?

Sid the kid? Well not only are you a sheeple bandwagon member, you obviously have no clue what you are talking about. Sid the kid is one of the most overrated pieces of garbage I have ever seen. I give mr "oc 87 rbk' props because he is Canadian, that is all. Not only is Ovechkin better by a damn shot over sid, sid is a power and media hungry whore. He is a whiner and he is ultimetly bad for the game. His linemate Malkin has more talent and personality than Crosby has. Oh and do not be so suprised if Malkin and Ovechkin are line mates one day in DC or elsewhere (fingers crossed in dc). Grow up bandwagon chick.

Joe Thornton

I can assure you that if you polled the GMs, you would only get 29 Crosby votes, I'm pretty sure that Washington's McPhee loves Ovechkin too ;)
me...I'm picking Thornton for this coming year anyway

we all have to agree on Joe Sakic, at this age, he still proves to be one of the best and will fall under one of the greatest forwards of all-0time!
Hes one of the only Players in the Games History to get 100+ points at this age!
