i have a toshiba saellite a105-s2001 and i just bought 2 gigs of ocz dual channel ram. first i tried to just put both pieces of memory in but when i went to boot up it just kept trying to start and the shutting down and trying to start and so on and so on. i can boot it up with the stock ram in one channel and one gig in another but i need to get the other gig in. help please.

Try running 1 stick of OCZ RAM at a time to verify if both are ok. If confirmed ok, try running both. If they do not work then interchange position in the memory slots. If they still won't work, there could be an incompatibility problem. Have them replaced with a different brand or model of RAM.

I guess it's either u have the wrong type of memory installed or u haven't installed the other RAM correctly or maybe u have more ram than the PC can handle (like my laptop only supports till 2GB of RAM memory

there's still the posibility that it's damaged
