that the world hates the US because they are jealous ? Is this really how most Americans feel? I have personally made interactions with foreigners from different countries and although some of them dislike the United States....it's not really "jealousy". It's more about the culture and attitude, which is strange to others and causing misunderstanding.
My question is----as Americans, do you personally believe that other nations are jealous?

Coming here illegally? It is the "money" that they send back home. Anyway, it seems to be irrelevant----coming illegally and them being jealous.

I don't necessarily think that other countries are jealous of us. I think the rest of the world thinks that we are ARROGANT! Although there might be a few countries that might be. I think a lot of it comes from the fact that the American government trying to police the world. I mean sometimes the US government tries to get into other countries business. That is why I hear people (especially the middle east) say that they like American people, they just hate our government.
I just think that people don't really hate Americans but rather the way that we are preceived.

I'm pretty sure is not just "jealousy" its the way they are raised, what they are taught at schools and the cultural environment they lived in. For example if people from other country are seeing on the news all the bad things USA do to other countries (which we do) they certainly are not going to like us, it doesn't matter that all other coutnries in the world are doing the same thing, what the people see on the news is "USA DID IT"

I highly doubt that anyone is jealous of us.We are a laughing stock internationally because of our foreign policy.Many Americans think the world is jealous of us,I hate to burst their bubble but they're not jealous at all.
People are eager to immigrate here because more opportunities exist for those who work hard.In other countries,people work hard and still cannot get ahead.

i do think that we as americans seem to think that everyone is jealous when that usually is not the case. but people in every country seem to feel this way, it is called nationalism, and it usually ends in the nation falling, because they bite off more than they can chew
