Ok on Youtube some chain letters post things have been going around on rock videos about rap. It usually goes something like this:
98% of teenagers have moved onto rap. If you are one of the 2% that hasn't post this on 5 other boards.

Why do some people not have respect for other people's music. I mean, I used to listen to rap, but I don't like it now. But that doesn't mean you have to go around insulting other peoples' music! If someone who's favorite genre of music was rap went around insulting people who liked rock (some do go around like that) they would get angry. Why can't we all just respect other people's music? Geez!

Because some people don't appreciate rap, I think it has something to do not with the music but with the people who create it.

I personally detest rap. Rap has vulgar words, and tons of them. Have you ever heard a part of a DMX song? Most rap has bad messages and is disrespectful. I am not saying every single rap artist or every single song, but it almost is.
Besides Alternative and country are the beat in my opinion!
Some of my friends listen too rap, I don't see why they like it, but hey I respect my friends, so I respect their choices. Though I do try to get them into my favorite bands.

I guess when You're afraid of Your favorite genre dieing, You stoop to some pretty desparate measures. sounds like they are trying to get kids to, start listening to rap, through peer preasure. You know, "Rock Is'nt Cool, anymore". Sad.

i dont listen to it neither but my daughter does. as long as she likes it i dont care.
