I have come across a divination tool called Witching stones and a book about them called, "Symbols of the Craft" by M.D.Madigan & P.M. Richards. It appears to be a bag of pieces that have witch craft symbols inscribed on them and they are to be used in a similar fashion to Runes. Has any one seen this before and have they used them? Any comments?

I am not looking at them to cast spells against anyone. I don't do that unless My family or myself are attacted. I am just looking at them as another divination tool!!

I'm not denigrating the commercializing of divining stones, but stones as tools go a long, long way back. Though sometimes they were mixed with small bones. The inscriptions are a nice thought if the operator cannot find patterns and thoughts without them.
I like canoeing and "floating" rivers. There is a limit on how much you can carry in a canoe, especially if it is a river with rapids. We usually overnight on sand and gravel banks. It takes me about ten minutes to gather about a dozen stones of various sizes, shapes and colors. I suggest that those with me do the same. At the campfire we throw the stones about the next day. Sometimes it's fun, other times it can become serious. Either way, the stones are left behind on their island the next day.
Are you beginning to think the world is Magick to me? It is.

Ms Crone, I have seen them along with Shaman stones and Witch cards and Shaman cards. I've never used them myself, as I already have my tools of choice for divination and do not wish to expand beyond that. I have heard of any reviews, one way or the other on the witch stones, yet.

I even have heard in basic terms of the fairy circulate stone which does no longer have a hollow. they're brownish dtones that for sure form a circulate shape on them. they have a extreme vibrational potential. I sell them at my keep, so i comprehend what you're speaking approximately. some thing with a organic hollow in it.... hmmm. Coral has a organic hollow in it. that is in basic terms the scale of a pin hollow nevertheless. It has greater potential than the fairy circulate stone

They are used mostly for fortune telling mostly; BUT, If you actually know what each of symbols mean, you could use them in particular formations to fortify your spell crafting.
(....and you actually didn't have to "buy" them, you could have gotten a set blank cards (or pieces of paper) to write the symbols onto and just to the same with them.)

Witchcraft like voodoo has its power in the belief of others. the only way these things work is if the person you are casting against actually believes in your power.
Its all in the mind. Its all in the power of suggestion.
