I'm dying to have long boots (calf, or knee-length) for fall/winter, but I'm a plus size girl with larger calves. Does anyone know where I can find some classy, sexy, affordable, tall boots that will fit?

I have this problem!!! I finally got some knee high ugg boots, and the only reason they fit my calves is because they are lace-ups!. If you can find a pair of boots that have laces instead of a zip, then they should fit. It's a lot more work, but sometimes that's just what you have to do if some bits are bulgier than others.

If you are willing to spend the money, DUO in the UK is the best place. They are custom made to fit (you can order online with your measurements) They will however run you around $300 a pair but will last forever.

I have a pair I bought 5 years ago that I wear all the time and I still have them.

go to zappos.com! they have shoes for every body!

also, try a plus-size store like torrid. they have some great shoes for grils with large calves, and are also affordable, thir boots are around $50-$60. You can order online at www.torrid.com.

Try Torrid ( http://www.torrid.com ). They've got a few styles, and they're not to expensive. I've actually got a couple pairs from there myself, and they do fit around my legs (I, too, am a plus-sized girl, and I've got huge legs. Even most plus-calf boots barely make it around my legs). There's also this site: http://www.widewidths.com/ . I haven't ordered anything from them myself, and they're not as budget-friendly as Torrid, but it looks promising. Good luck finding a pair that fits!

I played soccer for years, and have the same problem!

I just did a quick search online, and found a few sites that specialize in wide-calf boots.

Don't pay attention to "stupidbeef"...they've obviously picked that name for a reason.
Because high boots are very much in fashion, I'm sure you can find them in most catalogs for plus-sized woman.

Good luck!
