If you never have periods it is likely that you don't ovulate, which obviously would make conceiving impossible.
Not having periods doesn't automatically mean one is sterile (absolutely not able to conceive) but it is a sign of infertility (problems conceiving). If you are trying to conceive and you don't get a period don't wait the normal one year of ttc before seeing the doctor, go now.

That is absolutely NOT true. I use this example all the time- women who are breastfeeding often do not get periods, yet they sometimes, to their surprise, find themselves pregnant! Also, after coming off depo it sometimes happens, you won't have a period, but do ovulate. I had a friend who forgot to get her shot, and when she was 6 weeks late for it went in to the doctor to get it, and lo and behold, she was pregnant. Mind you she had no period in over 2 years. Just because you get a period does not mean you ovulated, and just because you ovulate doesn't mean you get your period. However, it is very unlikely that one ovulates when they don't have periods unless there's some special circumstance. Good luck! I hope that helps.

not true!
some women get pregnant after giving birth but before the period returns, some women get pregnant after a miscarriage before the period returns.
if you are young and your periods have not started yet it is most likely you are not ovulating yet though and in that case cannot get pregnant but should not be having sex either.

For you people who say this is true please get an education before trying to help people. This is not true. If you skip a period it does not entirely mean you have not ovulated. Unless you have been diagnosed with pcos or something of that nature then it is entirely possible to still ovulate without a period.

Yes, it's true. Girls who haven't gotten their periods shouldn't be having sex, but if it's about the time that they're about to have their first period, ABSOLUTELY! But girls who are like..3 or something, nooo way. It's if they're about to start for the first time.

yes, but if you are not trying to conceive don't JUST rely on that, you never know when it might start and you won't know, and you get your period after having sex, you may get pregnant. If you are trying to conceive I would recommend going to see the doctor.
