I would like to know more about this "wonder pill" before giving an opinion. For example, how does it know what memories to erase? How much time will it take? What is it made of? What are the side effects? I can say, superficially speaking, that it SOUNDS like a good thing. Certainly there must be a valid reason to have researched such a product for those who suffer, otherwise who would have spent the money on research? Like I said, it sounds good, but it takes more research and testing on humans before we will know if it is a worthwhile product or not.

Would I take a trauma pill?? I would think that it would depend on what it was supposed to do. Is it supposed to make you forget the trauma?? Or is it supposed to make it easier for you to deal with the trauma?? AS some one who's experienced several different types of trauma I'm not sure that I would take it if the idea was to help you forget the trauma. For this reason even though these issues were horrible and something that I wouldn't want to re-experience and definitely something that I wouldn't want my children to experience it has helped me become the person that I am today. They have made me stronger and more able to take care of myself and my children. I hope that I have become a better person because of these things and because I know what pain is so I'm less likely to inflict it on someone just for the heck of it as some people do.

I see this as a source of potential abuse. The ramifications are large and wide. I for one do not advocate something like this in 95% of the events folks would use it for. It would be a last effort to save someones life, prevent suecide, or other such event to make me agree to allow such a thing.
