Are the emotions of the highly intelligent different from those of the average?

I don't think that is true. Emotions are different for every individual, and they way the individuals are emotive differ as well. Everyone has their own threshold of emotions, and everyone has different adaptability as far as controlling and showing emotions. I don't think that intelligence has anything to do with it. There can be a wealthy individual who copes with her/his emotions by drinking themselves into oblivion. there can be a low income individual who cries in private. There can be a college student who uses illegal narcotics, and a college drop out who jogs along the pond to deal with emotions. There are as many different ways of handling emotions as there are people on the earth.

emotions are much more controlled by logic , with the higher intelligence.

so much in fact, that they forget just how powerfull emotions are for those whom are soo controlled by them.

while the intelligent dislike lack of emotional controll, there controll over it, has made them lose memory of a most important feature of themselves, one which can kill there species off.

so they ever try to learn the emotions of the less intelligent.

its not a far look to find the high intelligent beings upon this planet, whom are visiting forr such a purpose.

funny part is, the uncontrolled emotional beings of this time, are too blind by there emotions to realize the higher intelligent being from another.

Highly intelligent people may deal with their emotions better; but this is debatable. Emotions are a great leveller. I have known clever people who have done the most amazingly stupid things when carried away by strong feelings. Emotion and intellect are really two separate entities.
