I'm not very knowledgeable about the Bible, but I do know that Luke was a musician. I think God loves music and the fact that we express ourselves with it and that it brings us great joy.

I think God likes music and I think he would like any music which does not harm humanity in any way and in this way if the music is good it is just another way that humanity can do to give God the honor and the glory due God.

Of course God likes music: he only gave us the ability to make it. I am thinking he has a little Elvis obsession and has yet to get over it.
