This baby belongs to you and Brandon Dee so I say you name him whatever you want. If you like that name that is all that matters. Your cousin was rude to laugh at you and tell you to pick another name. Ignore her and much luck with baby Landon. :o)

Landon sounds fine, but the Dee makes it sound feminine.

That's perfectly fine, it's your baby! I think Landon Dee is cute and it will be special for him to have a name similar to his daddy :)

This is your baby not your cousins. Landon is a great name, and I think having a similar name is better than the same name and being called "Jr". Or call him by a "nickname" My dad's name is Andrew James, and I want to name my son Andrew James and call him Jamie.

I had so many people ask me why i was naming my son John Patrick, but calling him Patrick. Noone liked Patrick. Tough! He's named after his dad. Once someone puts a damper on the name, it makes you like it a little less. But the good news is...once you have the baby and make it offical, no one says anything anymore. She was probably mad she didn't have a say in picking out his name!

The names are close, but you could certainly name your son Brandon Jr., which is closer than Landon. And, truthfully, I've called my son by my brother's name and they're not remotely close.
If you're confident of your choice, I'd stick with it.

Landon is a stupid name, unless you're the guy from Little House on the Prairie. And even then, it wasn't his first name.

I think that it is beautiful, it is your child you can name him whatever you like. I just had my third and we named him Rocco Christopher and my cousin asked me if I was embarassed to say his name. I thought that was completely uncalled for she named her son Ashten, and I don't like the name at all, but I'm not going to tell her that.
