I didn't feel like getting up when my alarm went off. My boss laughed, and yes, it worked.

Late to school .. excuse was b/c I was hit in the head with a baseball when a left handed batter hit a line drive into the dugout and I wasn't paying attention like I should have been. It only worked b/c it was true and I had quite the shiner to prove it! :)

Late to work
Sorry I`m late! Somebody pulled a gun on me in front of my house. I`m late because I had to make sure my family was safe before I came to work.

I once told my friends I was late because I was consoling a friend who got in trouble because she was having a scandalous relationship with a teacher... and they totally bought it... XD!

i was in my room starting my homework
when a ghost appeared , he took me to the 3rd no it was the 4th
YEAH the 4th dimension , he forced me to battle him to the death..
so long story short that is y i have ghost smell on me

Late because there was one toilet and shower in the hotel room and my then wife had decided to lock herself in it and pout, refusing to come out for hours. They HAD to buy it because it was TRUE!

I got into a gunfight. Actually...... At that time in my life it really wasn't all that weird. I was averaging one or two of them a week.
And yes, it worked.

That is one area where I have never made an excuse oddly enough.
I'm late -- suck it up and deal with it. If I could have made it on time, I would have.
