All cells have a cell membrane.

The cell wall is for support, but it has relatively big gaps and spaces in it. The contents of the cell would leak out if there were no membrane.

Think of those big boxes of milk they put in school milk machines. Inside the box is a plastic bag that actually contains the milk. The plastic bag is the membrane; the box is the cell wall.

Would you like to carry around a gallon ziploc bag full of milk? Would it be easier to carry it if you put it in a shoebox?

Would you be able to stack up 20 of those gallon bags of milk? Could you stack them if they were each in their own boxes?

How about if the milk were in the shoe boxes, but you didn't use any plastic bags. Want to carry that around for a while? Of course not, it would leak all over the place. Same reason why plant cells need the cell membrane.

yes it does.
the function of the cell wall is to provide more structual support whereas the function of the membrane plays a roll in biochemical processes
