If you should have one (which I hope never happens)

1. Fly to the Philippines pronto, with your favorite cousins in tow.
2. Stay in my Tagaytay house and leave the cares to the wind. Lousechi and I could be your hosts.
3. We will fly in AREF to provide wit and comic relief.
4. Jongbong takes care of the beer.
5. Shirley will bring in the vegies and strawberries from Baguio.
6. We will invite all YAPper friends and have a party.
7. And we will all sing

How can you mend a broken heaaaaart
How can you stop the rain from falling down
How can you stop the sun from shining....

As for me, a broken heart does not mend easily. In its grieving and torn stage, it just copes and moves on, until the doctor of the broken heart appears.

Get inspired by Inday's break-up letter to Dodong:

" I was the one who loved you most, but between us you lost more. For someday I can love someone the way I loved you, but you will never be loved again the way that I did."

For a day - raid Jongbong's ref, put the karaoke on and sing the ache away, laugh and cry at the same time and when there's no more room for another beer, sleep it off...Then comes a new and brighter day. What's over is over. Time to move on.

One must move on – the heart will heal on its own and once healthy, will emerge stronger.

The trick is to not put yourself in a position where your heart will be broken in the first place, and that target position can be acquired without much difficulty.

If you fall from a horse, get right back on. If you have a heartbreak, find new occupations or friends. The longer you wait, the worse it will be.

Sometime it also helps if you look at your situation objectively and (even if you don't want to admit it), say "I'm just feeling sorry for myself".

Forget the one person who broke your heart.
'Gumimik' with your friends, enjoy life after the break-up and hopefully you'll find another love. Prove to him/her that your life goes on even with or without him/her. He/she is not the end of the road for you.

make that person feel that she/he is loved and cared for. simple words of encouragement and most of all prayers will help him/her pick up the pieces and mend it all together again.

surround yourself with loved ones...family and friends. and tell yourself that it's not the end of the world, that you can move on and that you're now a better and stronger person after going through hell....and celebrate! life's too short!

Just do your daily routine..... Love comes, love goes, love comes and love goes. Remember, love will always be sitting at a corner. And when the right time arrives, you will be smiling again.
