It depends on my level of anger. If it is something really small and I am P.M.Sing, or in a fowl mood already the count down would help to put me back on the road of tame, if it is something really big and nothing is going on but the problem that made me angry than I really have to count higher to keep from swinging.

Yes it is really sad and scary seeing those scowling, crying, mopping, pouting, sad, etcetera avatars. I hope that they see this question and will take off those avatars. I mean I guess grumpy people who want to look unhappy all the time will be unhappy but I think we will be better off that way. No offense to anyone who is really grumpy all the time. *oh hey....* *I am not grumpy all the time* *Then why aren't you smiling?* *Um...See.* Fake smile! Be happy. If your life is that bad look forward to something. Find something. Ask to go out to see a new movie, get a boyfriend, make a new best friend, have a weekend party, go rollerblading. Something. Count to 20, relax, smile, breathe, and relax. Just be happy!

I just get quiet, go somewhere & just think about the whole thing & decide whether to go toe to toe or just let it go, provided it's not something quite serious like unfaithfulness or whatever. Sometimes that keeps me from saying something I might regret. That approach seems to avoid arguements over somewhat trivial stuff, but it still makes a person seethe sometimes , but we can't argue all the time, I suppose. I just hate the feeling that I'm caving in to avoid a scene.
