It's too early for a sippy cup.

Just keep offering the bottle periodically until your baby is willing to take it.

Now's the time to start breast/bottle.. Pump and freeze your breastmilk.. Gerber makes some nice baggies for breastmilk storage.. Pump 4-6oz at a time and freeze.. Get a couple different types of bottles.. Playtex ventaire's are good and MR. BROWN'S. Have someone else attempt to bottle feed the baby.. If you try and do it, it may not happen.. Since he/she can smell you and will want the breast.. Whenever possible have daddy, grandma or a sitter feed the baby.. Don't get discouraged and keep trying.. Eventually, the baby won't fight it and will drink from a bottle.. When you go to the show.. Tell your sitter to thaw the breastmilk in warm water and swirl it around the bottle to mix the protein/fat with the milk it will seperate. Also, NEVER put breastmilk in the micro or boil on the stove.. Just run it or put it under hot running tap water so it's warm but, not too hot... Oh and before you leave for the show pump both breasts and wear breast pads so you don't leak... Or feed the baby from both breasts. Get some thin pads one's that won't show through your clothing... Good luck and have a nice time out !

Bottle. Of course, if you don't know that a 16 wk old is too young for sippy then maybe you shouldn't be asking the question. Anyway, you can only try the bottle one day at a time. You can't force it. Try having someone else feed the baby with a bottle. He / she is depending on you to be the source of food. Try a bottle like Avent Natural that is shaped most like the breast.

Im assuming you are breastfeeding.. I have had four children and this is the best way to do this. Just simply dont offer the breast no more by the end of the day she or he will be thirsty enough to take the bottle. it might also help to put breast milk in the bottle. it might also be the type of nipples you are trying i would try a few different ones the the baby will like. I hope i helped you.

If your nursing, pump out enough for several hours...... Then have your babysitter wet the nipple of the bottle under warm water, and lightly coat it in "Splenda" or 'Sugar".........and give to baby.
If baby gets the hick ups as a result of this, have on hand a clean "eye-dropper"....and put about 2 drops of Pepsi in the eye dropper and gently dab a bit on baby's tongue, this takes the hick-ups away....almost immediately.
AND:
Have a good time at the concert.
