I know that BMW's are expensive to fix if they break down but what other cars are too?

I'd say Honda.
My sis has an accord and you must fix it even if it's not broken!
( timing belt and water pump every 100,000 mi. $400-$600 )

BMW's are cheep compaired to Ferrari, Lambo and Bugatti. Limited production cars also have fewer spare parts so supply and demand jacks up the price of parts.

Would depend on the mekanik, the parts mark up and the hourly rate. Make of car means nothing.

Italian cars are because of the price of there parts and inavailability of trained techs to work on them.Mercedes and Saab are real high also.

most import parts cost more. the jap ones, bmw, benz, italian, etc
