A condensation reaction is usually called condensation synthesis. Basically, two molecules are joined together by taking out a molecule of water.
1. The two molecules don't start out with any spots that want to bond together.
2. An enzyme removes H+ from the end of one molecule, so that end now wants to share one electron -- it has a bonding site available.
3. The enzyme removes OH- from the end of the other molecule, so that end now wants to share one electron -- it has a bonding site available, too.
4. The two molecules bond together by sharing one electron each, two electrons total.
5. The H+ and the OH- join together to make a molecule of water.
"Condensation" - it forms a molecule of water.
"Synthesis" - it joins two molecules together.

Most energy? Lipids
Just think - which compound would make a person gain the most weight? Lipids are fats.
