Have no fear, he's due back in what Luke calls "Port Chuckles" in October. He'll be there in time to take part in the mob war that is now brewing. I can hardly wait for him to get back to town. What a boring, boring place when Luke's not around....and I suspect it's gonna get really exciting when Luke finds out Scotty is in the middle of things, and LuLu has been involved with Logan, who is supposed to be Scotty's son.....Luke's head will explode when he finds out what has been going on.

He should be back the end of September, but no later than the end of October. Because he's been on the show so long, Anthony Geary has earned where he can take an extended vacation every summer, which is why every year on the show around May (depending on the storyline) he disappears from the screen for months. It's always some adventure that Luke goes on or something. He has the type of character than he can disappear like that for months without question, and then just come strolling back into town like he was never gone. I love that. He will definitely come back though.

I believe it is fairly soon as SOD spoke of his return with a "mob war" going on... maybe a few more die before he returns, but it should be soon.

Yes. He takes regular extended vacations, but he hasn't left for good.
