The future will be be what you make of it. Whether anything is good or bad is in the eye of the beholder. If you tend to be optimistic, and I hope you are, the future will be better. Have a nice day!

In 50 years, we'll be at 10 billion souls at our current rate of growth, with zero fossil fuels, zero coal and other natural resources. Wars will be fought over water. The burgeoning populations will mostly be in the third world countries.

Will technology save the day?.....maybe. Will we change our ways and avoid the impending train wreck?....doubtful. Will there be some cataclysmic event that will bring the earth down to more sustainable levesl?.....probably.

I can only hope 'better' and not worse.

More technology
More of this globalization stuff
More new gadgets to put people into bankruptcy
National ID cards (I HATE the IDEA of THAT)
New styles of music, art, architecture, performing arts, etc.
