of course, we do. People with all the right features are believed to be more important. They are believed to be ones we want to be close to or know something about. It is a fact that more handsome men make better salesmen, so long as they have some gift for gab and some brains behind the mask. YOu notice a handsome man or a pretty woman before you notice others. This is why beautiful people are worshiped. We tend to trust what a pretty woman says. Of course, in the sexual arena, a pretty face is also assumed to be in front of a less than smart person. This is the worst nighmare for women with comely features. They sometimes feel they have to present a smart image from what they say as well as what they do so they do not "use" their features to their advantage. Many very beautiful women actuall dress down so to speak to avoid being the center of attentions. We also assume that a beautiful person is more successful, having more prowess in bed, and possibly more knowledgeable than their experience has given them. This is why celebrities get an audience, even if they do not know what they are touting. Of course, those of us who are not beautiful would have it no other way or there would not be celebrities. We like to worship beautiful people. The world turns on it as does advertising. Welcome to our superficial world.

If I find someone beautiful I like to look at them, but I tend not to make any assumptions before getting to know a person.

I'm with 132 again. I try not to make assumptions about anyone. I am not a religious person but I like the old "Do unto others" - etc.

Yeh, people do it out of their own insecurities....it is unfair, but then again, the beauties also have positive advantages bestowed upon them, based only on their looks too.

Yes, I guess I do, most "Beautiful" people I have seen on TV, especially reality, are THICK and very very SHALLOW, if its possible. I am quite happy to be proved wrong, but have found that rarely happens. Ugly people have to find other things to employ them minds other then on their own appearance. (I am quite thick by the way).

No. I distrust everyone equally.

Except for people who use Bugs as an avatar. They're totally cool right off the bat...

Sometimes. I used to think people who were more attractive had better lives then people who were less attractive, which is total BS.
