Yes,especially when your at the bottom of the glass.I was once chewing a hard cornflake and it turned out to be an elastoplast! (a bandaid).

Once I found a bit of bacon floating in my coffee at Denny's. Left after complaining. No bill. And I was too grossed out, I couldn't eat for the rest of the morning and afternoon.
