umm well i can help you a little if like additional detail was how does the spider look like but here

The Flying Spider
One remarkable species must be mentioned here—the so-called flying spider (Attus volans), a beautiful metallic blue or green in color with abdomen marked with concentric rings of blue, white and red, It does not actually fly—no spider can do this—but the abdomen bears extensive flaps which, when extended, en-able it to plane through the air thus greatly increasing the range of its leap.

The only way a spider could "fly" would be if the wind caught it and it wafted away. I'm pleased that you caught it and put it out rather than kill it. Thank you. But I've never seen a spider fly under its own power.

I've never seen a flying spider. I'm pretty sure it was just jumping rather than flying. It would be pretty scary to see spiders flying around.

NO--I've never seen a flying spider. I have seen more than one that has been able to jump long distances though. :o)

They don't actually fly they cast out a strand of silk, that the breeze catches and that carries it away. They are known to travel hundreds of miles in this manner.

Yeah. I have seen it before, on tv though. They use their thread that makes their web and somehow fly with that. I am serious.
