Why or why not?

No.
As a young child I was scared of spiders. This is mainly because, in an effort to protect me from black widow spiders, my parents told me not to play with spiders.
As I grew up, I became scared only of black spiders.
In college I overcame my fear and handled a tarantula.
Now I'm not even scared of black widows. Over the years I've realized that black widows are completely unaggressive towards humans, and not lethal if they do bite. They will only bite you by accident, for instance, if one is pressed against your skin; it will bite from self-defense. I do kill them when they are in the way, but mostly I leave them alone, and they leave me alone.

I am horrified of spider. The reason i'm afraid is cause of the movies youv'e seen and the things the venom coudl do to you. Liek kill you. That's ptretty much the idea of whyi'm scared. Some spiders look cool and their webs even cooler. But theyr'e venom dangerous.

I love spiders. They are so very useful. On top of that, they rarely bite people unless they really feel threatened. I used to be afraid of them but then I had a really fabulous high school biology teacher who had tarantulas. They were just so awesome that I couldn't help but like them.

Not at all. The only time they bother me is if I see one in the house and I'm not sure if it's poisonous or not.
