who is better overall?

I would have to say Randy Orton. I mean after Triple H was gone for so long that brought down his greatness. But when he came back at Summerslam, he dominated. As for Orton, he has been living up to his title as Legend Killer, and I think he has been better overall.

Orton is the better overall athlete. Triple H beats him in all other categories. Experience, no contest; Orton is really only getting started. In-ring performance, Triple H. Mic skills, no contest, Triple H is one of the best. Character, Triple H; the "Cerebral Assassin" trumps the "Legend Killer". Triple H can play anything from deadly serious to goofy and funny (DX). Randy Orton is one-dimensional (a cold-blooded prick); can he do anything else? He had the chance to try humor with one of the funniest guys in wrestling (Edge) and he didn't run with it, just stayed that cold-blooded prick the "Legend Killer". Reputation, Triple H. Triple H has beaten some of the biggest names in wrestling in some of the biggest matches in wrestling for the biggest title in wrestling. Orton's "reputation" is for beating up old guys. And Orton was not the youngest world champion is history, Lou Thesz was (by 3 years!).
Maybe years from now, Orton might have accomplished some of what Triple H has already accomplished, but as of now, compared to Triple H, Orton is just a barking pup.

Triple H is stronger but Randy Orton is younger and better in strategy and his moves are effective too. But if you've noticed triple H is now stronger after his surgery. I GO FOR ORTON.
