The first three lines read as though you're about to write a limerick, but then it all collapses and you continue on a totally different plain. How about:
There once was a young man named Mek
Whose account was a terrible wreck.
He drank lots of whisky,
Which made him quite frisky.
He thought to himself "What the heck?"
His brain, it became overloaded,
Until all at once it exploded,
But still, he kept blogging,
The fire on his noggin,
The flames rose and all had eroded!
