If you had to choose, which would you root for to go to the playoffs this year? Milwaukee Brewers or Cubs? Please explain why. :)

Thanks for the responses, and I like most of them, but, can anybody explain why they think the Brewers or why they think the Cubs should make it to the playoffs?

I would have to say I would root for both of them. I would root for the Brewers only cause I like rooting for the underdogs. I would also root for the cubs only cause it has been a dream of mine to see the cubs vs. red sox for a long time. Anyway I am cardinals fan in and out and I would love to see them make it but they are pretty much out of it. WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR!

Brewers, but I'd like to see the Cubs make it too...just that the Brewers haven't been in the playoffs in a really long time. And I'd love to see a Brewers/Indians World Series this year because Cleveland had its "home opener" in Milwaukee due to the weird snow out situation at Jacobs Field.

CUBS Because for one I'm from Chicago Born and Raised, two I live in IOWA Big Cub Fan-base and where the Triple A Affiliate of the Cubs is, Three They have the Best Ballpark beyond Fenway Wrigley Field, Four the Fans Understand the Meaning of the Word "Loyalty" and Five they haven't won a World Series in 99 Years long overdue in My Opinion.

The Brewers. Mostly because I am a White Sox fan. I know it is awful, but I want the Cubs to lose. They seem to blow it a lot, so maybe I will get lucky! But in my opinion, the Brewers are a better team too.

I'd root for the Cubs. A couple years ago my brother switched loyalties from the Royals to the Cardinals and I haven't (nor will I ever) forgiven him. So since the Cubs are the Cards biggest rival I would root for them.

im a cards fan too but i would have to go with cubs since soriano was on the yanks hes been one of my favorite players i live near dc i was so exited when he was here

Any team that hasn't been to October in a quarter-century and had to put up with Seligula as owner for much of that time deserves a break. As do its fans.
