In its simpliest form, photosynthesis simply converts water and carbon dioxide into sugar (glucose) and oxygen gas while cellular respiration converts oxygen and sugar into carbon dioxide and water.

Photosynthesis would be:

6 CO2 + 6 H2O ~~> C6H12O6 + 6 O2

Cellular respiration is just going the opposite way:

C6H12O6 + 6 O2 ~~> 6 CO2 + 6 H2O

for the duration of cellular respiratory, it makes use of the oxygen the photosynthesis made, to create glucose (sugar). that is like they're the opposites. Photosynthesis: Water + glucose + image voltaic = Oxygen cellular respiratory: oxygen + water = glucose
