Does anyone know a sentence that i can use hydrophobia in? oh and the sentence needs to tell the meaning.. oh and no this isnt my hw im trying to prove a girl wrong LOL help me win!!

I was so terrified of going near water that I went to a doctor and he said I had hydrophobia, an unnatural fear of water!

Hydrophobia is another word for the illness rabies,in the later stages the victim has difficulty swallowing and panics when offered liquids so they cannot quench their thirst.

It isn't Hydrophobia...that would mean a fear of....well everything, I'm assuming you mean chronic fear of water, that's Aquaphobia.

Sand on mars is probably hydrophobic, because millions of years without exposure to water has caused it to completely resist becoming wet.
