I have a 97 Accord, I've taken my car several times to get the boots, cv joints, or whatever the hell is up in the front to get fixed, the last time i took it, Honda said that they greased one side and that it was my transmission causing and making the same exact sound now. Are they feeding my bull ****?

The CV joints need to be replaced.

Once they start making noise, simply greasing them is like putting cart before the horse..It does no good.

if it only makes the clicking when you turn a corner, doesn't sound like tranny. sounds more like a ball joint or tie rod wearing down, could be a cv joint but the clicking is usually more an indicator of a loose or worn ball joint. could also be an indicator of a wheel bearing going bad especially if this is one of the vehicals with the wheel bearing and hub all in one assembly. take it somewhere else to have the front end checked out if the honda dealer doesn;t want to do it right.

Maybe. Take it to an independent shop for a second opinion. There is an indy Honda shop in almost every town that has a dealership. Most are factory trained mechanics.

If i were you i would get another shops opinion but it sounds if your having C.V.joint problems it could be caused by a transmission issue or they could be feeding you bull to make a extra dollar or two
