Because sex is powerful and were all pretty ignorant about relaitonships and at that age trust me no one knows what love is, or better, how to use it, but ooo do they know what sex is. So f it as long as your safe have fun, but realize the heartache could of been avoided...

because your government decided that you're not mature enough for it, so it's illegal. that, and it'll prevent you from getting things like stds and going through alot of trouble before you've gotten the proper sex/ed.
but there are different age laws in different countries, in the UK it's legal to have sex at 16, but you can't drink or drive until 18.. go figure.
