I don't give a flying frogs butt that these women happen to be lesbians, but I do care that they were afforded an opportunity, which they took knowingly and now seem to be greedy ingrates! Firstly the kids are 3 years old. How do you think this makes them feel? To see that their parents are suing because they only wanted ONE OF THEM! Do you think they wonder which one they didn't want? This is sickening on so many levels. I hope their state (or equivalent) child protection service counter sues for the mental abuse of these children.

Lippie, I agree about the adoption option is they really didn't want the 2nd baby. But denying IVF as a way for women/couples who can't conceive naturally to potentially have a baby of her/their own is not territory I wish to enter. There are so many gray areas about what is right, ethical, moral... I think it is a personal choice which should be reviewed by the woman/couple and the doctors on a case by case basis.

Ridiculous! Absolutely ridiculous! Doesn't IVF almost always have the "risk" of multiple births?
I can just imagine this scenario too... If they'd chosen to abort one of the babies, and (God forbid) something happened to the other one, they probably would have sued because the doctors took the "wrong" one. It just goes to show that people are lawsuit happy all over the world.

Maybe kids should be born the old fashion way, and then they wouldn't have had to go through all of the stress, of raising a child they didn't want. When the child was born, why didn't they put one of them up for adoption at that time.

Isn't there a contract they had to sign stating they understood the risk of the procedure and how it could result in multiples? Selfish little women they are!
