I could never choose.
The 60's is by far my favorite music era. I love The Who, Mama's & Papa's, Janis Joplin, The Doors, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Country Joe & the Fish, so much...i'm young, but I was raised in Woodstock. So a bit of that phase was still stuck on us. More Alice Cooper and Black Sabbath type stuff though.

I love The Who, Jefferson Airplane, Greatful Dead, but I would have to go with Janis Joplin. Her music was so incredible. Yeah she was way before my time but I enjoy her music. She was such a freespirit and had no problem being different with her music down to being different as an individual. She was definetely an influential artist during the 60's and her music still lives today.
