Which of the following is true for a system whose equilibrium constant is relatively small?


A. It will take a short time to reach equilibrium.

C. The equilibrium lies to the left.

I think the answer should be B, but I am not sure about the equilibrium position, so I don't know if the answer could be E. Please help.

Equilibrium constants are the ratio of the concentration of the products to the reactants once equilibrium is reached.

So, a large number would mean the products are favored; a small number means the reactants are favored.

Reactants lay to the left of the reaction arrow.

The correct choice is C.
