If you wanted to leave your wife, you should have done so BEFORE contacting your ex.

That was very stupid.

Ugh...What is up with you men? Is there no common sense left, at all?

What about your wife? Don't you owe her more respect, than that? You've been together 17 years. The least you could have done was tell her, instead of looking up old exes for attention.

You could,But don't expect to just pick back up where you left off. And if she left her husband for you, won't she be likely to leave you for someone else? And,if you have a wife, why do you even want to contact an old girlfriend?

Why would you want to leave your wife of 17 years for a prior relationship that didn't work out. You already have 17 years invested, so something has been working out. But this girl at least one failed relationship (between you and her), plus she had another failed relationship (between herself and her husband of 7 years). Why would you even gamble with something like that? You can't be that crazy.

It's a wonderful thing to have a crush and picture life with someone else as more idyllic than what you have.

Could it be that you are not ready to give up what you have?

How loving is your wife?
Do you have kids?
Would your "girlfriend" get back with her husband if you were out of the picture, or did she use you as a springboard to leave him?
Why did you and this woman break up anyway (old ghosts often come back to haunt a rekindled relationship)?
Does your wife know you see a problem in the marriage?

You both had lives without the other. It was a stupid thing to do. You need to tell her you are sorry, and come clean with your wife. You have built a LIFE with her. Don't do this to her. You will regret it.

And so you should be. What is wrong with you? We said to contact her; not leave your wife for her. Geez - give you an inch and you take a mile, don't you?

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR!

you're an idiot! what did you think was going to happen, she left her husband for you? and now you can't decide to leave your wife of 17 years?

what comes around goes around, if she left her husband already what makes you think she won't leave you?
