Just a pretty white during the day, I really like it. Only trouble is, I gotta work when it snows, part of the job. Don't get to really enjoy it.

It depends upon what kind of snowy day it is. If it is a light fluffy snow, just like with a light rain you may see blue sky in patches. If it is windy and cold and the snow is blowing sideways across the road, it is grey and gloomy, like a day of hard driving windy rain. Even on clear days when the sky is a brilliant blue and the sun is shining you sometimes get a "crystal" type of snow, that seems to be a million sparkles in the air -- and then it is usually very cold, like - 25 C or colder...

Depends on what type of Snows.
If it's system snow, the sky would typically be gray and gloomy.
If it's Convective Snow Showers, the skys will generally be the same as a Summertime Thunderstorm.

The sky where I live in upstate NY looks very similar to the sky when it's raining.
The area I live in typically gets about 125 inches of snow a year.

When the snow is falling the clouds take on a flat light look and creamy in texture.
