Because they do hate them. What do you want them to do? Say they love a person they hate?

I guess I can remember using that word/phrase when I was younger. But as I grew, I realized just how strong that word really is. I try very hard not to use it now without a very good reason. I can honestly say, I don't know any human I hate..but I know several I strongly dislike. Usually it means I have no respect for that person at all.

I just got rid of a friend that is like that. People who hate so many things are insecure and actually hate themselves.
They are unhappy inside all of the time. I feel sorry for them but don't ever befriend one. They will make your life hell in their self absortion and critisizing EVERYTHING.
I would know. I just kicked one of those to the curb.

People should be nicer, yes.
But the world is harsh and cruel and mean.
Hate's a strong word, but you can't help how other people feel.

a lot of them do it to get attention/be dramatic or because everyone else does it.
i heard someone whining on the phone about how much homework they had...but does anyone really care?
