And don't just say we'd float up in the air, obviously that would happen in the end...

The earth would spiral away from the sun and the moon would spiral away from the earth but the first effect noticed would be that artificial satellites for things like TV and GPS would drift away from their intended orbit. It would only take a tiny change in gravity (G) to have a significant effect on the position of a GPS satellite.
In the longer term the nuclear fusion in the sun would slow down and eventually stop because it relies on the compression caused by gravity.

Sport would become more spectacular and interesting. New records for the high jump etc. When the root mean square speed of the air molecules> escape vel of earth we would start to lose our atmosphere. The sun would expand and cool, but the proximity would probably scorch the earth's surface. The red shift would increase and possibly the universe would expand forever.

Very light things would be affected first, snow would take longer to settle, in the begining it would still settle.
Later, light things such as thin paper would float up with a slight breeze, and stay up for several seconds.

Later still:
My backpack would be lighter, no matter how full it got.

Hair starting to float a little - oh and it'd be more difficult to breathe, and we float about in the atmosphere (as there wouldn't be as much air...)

GPS receivers would notice that everyone's altitude was increasing because the earth was expanding. The earth's interior is significantly compressed by the weight above it.

Insects would become larger and there would be a fight to the death between humans, football sized wasps and the 50 foot woman with one eye, a club foot, acne and bad breath that could stun an elephant from 50 paces.
