well obviously everyone will probably say go to bed earlier but i can never bother to do this, i try but it never works out.

make sure you eat breakfast, it wakes you up in the morning and gives you energy to start your day

other than that, i set my clock 15 minutes fast so that when im running late its ok because really i'll be on time

make sure no one sets your clock back though because then you really ARE late!

good luck with this :)

Since you are in the military, you are familiar with the word discipline.

You must discipline yourself to get at least 8 hours of sleep a night. Set yourself a bedtime to achieve this so that you can get up the 1-2 hours early in the morning to get ready for work. It can only be achieved by you. Don't eat an hour before bedtime, keep social engagements to a mininum during your work week, and getting a shower before bedtime also helps you to relax.

Set the time on your clocks to read 10 minutes later than the actual time. Keep the alarm time the same. For some reason, this seems to help, even tho we are fully aware that is not the correct time.

how much sleep do you get at night? do you feel tired through out the whole day or just when waking up? go get a blood test to rule out certain things. if everything is clear then a change of diet, eating different foods could help. you notice a difference in how alert and awake you are when you eat junk food for a whole month compared to when you eat healthy foods for a month.

are you kidding?... its ridiculous to be quite honest, if your seriously asking this. how about try leaving earlier... (thats a big one), waking up earlier and therefore going to sleep later. As far as I know, there are currently no wacky illnesses that would cause this. Its your responsibility to cope with whatever is causing this otherwise. Just believe that you are going to be on time, and that you always are, and usually it seems to play out that way.

I wonder why the whole Iraq thing was moving so sluggishly. It seems were arent disciplining our troops for taking the mornings off now. hmm..

"Militarty"?
"Mronigns"?
"Often has found myself late"?
"What can I do to help me out"?

If you are so tired that you can't type properly, you really need more sleep.

You might not be getting enough rest at night. Try eliminating all caffeine before 5 pm and don't have a big dinner. Try going to bed early!

I have the same problem and I set my clock 15 mins earlier than it really is. That's really a big help.

Set an alarm? Set your alarm earlier? Go to bed earlier?

Force yourself out of bed, because no one REALLY wants to get up after waking up, but everyone ELSE has to force themselves up?
