are very crafty they watch and wait and they and plan and more the often they are not on their own so how do we know if the mccanns was sitting and saying they was going out to dinner with their friends, and this person was listening i have an open mind on this but one thing we must not for get is a child is missing and by what i have been reading she is not the only child to go missing by these sick people so i think now its about time the press made a lot more fuss about all the children that go missing as we are members of the eu

I must disagree. You seem to be really saying that people who take children are very crafty etc? I have read loads of answers I disagree with, some arrogant, some ignorant, some abusive etc. However, I have said before and I will say it again. I do not think anyone on here has forgotten a child is missing and could have been taken by people really crafy and spent many hours organising an abduction. Also by the means she could have been taken, whether by family or stranger. I think we also all know and feel great pain for all missing children. I do agree with you the press could do more but where are the people battling for these children.?How do we know who they are? Despite all the negative comments about Kate and Gerry I would say EVERYONE on here knows who Madeleine McCann is.

You have a very good question.
None of us knows what happened to Maddie. We all know paedophiles come from all walks of life and every avenue must be looked into. It is quite possible someone went into the apartment; the parents didn't secure it.
I have listened and read papers regarding Portugal, and many children go missing there, and have been over the years......tourists wouldn't know this, who checks crime before going to a holiday destination.
I find it difficult to say the following, but Portugal is known for paedophiles, as mentioned in a programme on TV the other evening, (I must say I was surprised at this revelation). I write with the hope, that it wasn't a paedophile that took this little girl.
