Its a rumor. It was in last weeks Soap Opera Digest. Like the other person said, only Vanessa Marcill will ever play the role

I've heard the rumor too, but I agree with others that GH won't let anyone but Vanessa Marcil play Brenda... that would be like finding a replacement for Genie Francis playing Laura Spencer (when she is on), Tony Geary playing Luke Spencer, or Maurice Benard playing Sonny Corinthos, or Steve Burton playing Jason Morgan.... you just don't replace people like that.

It was denied a few issues ago in both ABC Soaps in Depth and in Soap Opera Digest.GH's goal is to try to not bring the character back unlesss Vanessa Marcil can return to the role.

I don't think GH would be stupid enough to recast Brenda, and as much as I can't stand Milano I can't see her going to a soap after doing primetime TV and film. Daytime is still considered the lowest sector of the entertainment industry.

I read in the TVGuide that she's going to have a stint on My Name Is Earl, plus she's working on the TV movie Wisegal, so I don't think she's going to be on GH anytime soon.

no, I read somwhere that GH would never get anyone besides Vanessa Marcil to play Brenda .....because she is such popular character with fans, they would gets really mad if someone else played her.

According to SOD, she is not going to take the part -- they seem to have someone else in mind and this was a rumor..... I only know what I read....

alyssa's publicist confirmed it had been a rumor. she will actually be on a few episodes of earl.

just a rumor no one could ever play her but v but it would be cool to have her on as some one new i am a fan of hers watched her on whos the boss and mp and charmed.
