hey all, i just came back from my doctors appointment to confirm my last step before taking clomid, my overies look great as well as my cervix.. so can any one fill me in on the ups and downs of clomid, cuz im starting to take it next week, but my boss told me not to cuz its an emotianal roller coaster... help please greatly appreciated

I was only moody with the first dose of Clomid. I'm on my 3rd round and have gotten every cycle, Hot Flashes at night time, headaches. Nothing unbearable and I'm hoping for a good result.
THere's a lot of us that are on CLomid here so feel free to ask questions as you are going through the process.

I took clomid. I was not successful. I had a hard time with clomid...I was sooo sick from it that I was unable to leave the house let alone go to work. I couldnt move my arm with out getting room spins. I took it a second time for an IUI and I took it at bedtime...I slept through most of the symptoms that were really bad. I had just slight light headedness the second time...nothing too bad....my bp went up a little bit too but nothing to be concerned about. You will be emotional...it is a horomone and it will mess with you but seriously...not as bad as some meds I have taken on this adventure called infertility. I would take it at night and make sure you drink plenty of water stay away from caffiene and if you need extra rest get it....GOOD LUCK!

Unfortuantely I can confirm that. Although the good news is my mood swings only lasted about 3-4 of the 5 days I took it. So for about 3 days I was an emotional mess, but thats worth it to me to be moody 3 out of 30 days of the month.

I took clomid for 3 cycles and no EWCM. on the 4th cycle I used Preseed and that i fell pregnant! How thrilling that the Benadril worked and Preseed definately works. the terrific of luck this month!

I think clomid is very good, but the bad part is it gives you prego symptoms, so many women think they are pregnant during the treatment. The rest I think is great. good luck.

first round had pregnancy sypmtoms, and hot hot hot flashes, I did it for 3 months without any success this month I am currently on metformin & clomid
