i agree.
people use jesus as a crutch.
but i dont think we should be angery with them for doing so because they were brought up that way and its the only thing that they know.
sometimes i wish i could feel the love in my heart that some people do for jesus, but i know i never can again. and thinking that he is about as real as harry potters magic also makes it very hard.

My belief in God differs from yours. I do not believe that we are going to Hell...... I think we already are there. Some days, like today,my life is a sort of hell that I do not ever wish to go thru again...On the other hand I have many days i wish could last forever. Those are the days that I know that my Creator is just and loving.
My concept of God is that of stern and loving father, one who allows us trials and tribulation to teach us something about ourselves. The last time you were in physical pain, did you not learn not to do the pain-causing- thing again? Emotional pain is much the same.

Everybody has a shot at redemption and to be saved from themselves. It's just a matter of accepting what it is that you need to do to get there. In fact I'm a Christian a Roman Catholic Christian and I don't believe that a majority of the world is going to hell. I'm not saying that everybody is going to heaven either but I just have a hard time believing that most of the world will be going to hell as well. In fact only God and Jesus can judge anybody and you never know everybody might be surprised at the end results.

The whole theory of god is ridiculous. The bible says the only sin that can't be forgiven is to not believe in god. So that means you can do anything you want as long as you repent before you die. I'll pass on heaven if I see Hitler in there. God has no control over me. I create my own destiny. When I help people it is from my heart not the fear of god. If I want to hurt someone god won't stop me.
What it comes down to is that god was created by man to keep peasants and slaves in check. God is also for people that are scared to die or need some point to life.
Life is what it is. There is no god.

There are many different kinds of belief in God. Why do I havve to believe that he's going to let us burn in hell if we don't believe? That's just one conception. And, kind of an immature conception, at that. I'll be happy to stop believing in God as soon as somebody proves that God does not exist.

The objective is this: God creates beings to glorify Him. God can make beings that will glorify Him easily. But God wants beings that will do this as part of their free will. That means they must be given a choice. they can choose to worship God, or they can choose not to. Those that choose to worship are taken to heaven and their souls are valued forever. those that do not choose to be with God get exactly what they choose, which is to be separated from God for eternity.
It is not God that damns you to hell, IT IS YOU!

Your question, insight, and possible answers is contingent upon the "God" that you identify. Is the "God" that you identify the true object of belief? Examine the issue of voluntarism in theology for insight.

The judeo-christian god is a bipolar sadist, and the fanatics are bipolar too in the fact that they act all nice until they find out that you don't belong to their religion or something.

I don't BELIEVE in GOD... that is just a fiction and something dreamed up for a bunch of illiterate sheephearders to believe in... there IS no GOD.
