I live in jersey and i barley see any pet stores that carry salamanders and newts other than firebellys. So anyone know?

the reason you see so few newts salamander is because for years and years people have gone out and just taken them from the wild with out thinking of what they were really doing. That and many of the areas they used to live in now have parking lots and houses on them.
