The beginning of the Universe, the big bang, reality and everything. This theory combines both religion and science.
For hundreds of years many people have thought God made the universe. There are different religions that basically all end up saying the same thing about God - that God has always existed. He was not created and he can't be destroyed. He was, is and always will be existing. This is the view of nearly every religion.
Now looking at it from a scientific point of view, the current best accepted theory for the beginning of the Universe is the Big Bang. The definition is:
“
A broadly accepted theory for the origin and evolution of our universe. The theory says that the universe started expanding roughly 14 billion years ago from an extremely dense and incredibly hot initial state.
”
The big bang theory also states that all matter along with space-time was born with this "explosion".
The human mind is a complex thing. Right from when we are kids we are born with the ability to imagine. We can imagine anything right now. The moon? Sure. Space? Sure. Even if you haven't been to either of these places you get a fair idea of what to imagine. But there is one thing that you cannot imagine, no matter how hard you try. That is nothingness.
How can one prove the concept of nothingness exists? Technically you couldn't, but say you were able to pause the whole of the Universe at this moment and go to a distant corner of the Universe and start stripping down the entire contents of that particular portion of space - down to the last atom, down to the last proton. What would you be left with? Nothingness. But you would never be able to form a mental picture of what that nothing would look like.
The big bang theory apparently explains how the Universe started but actually it just explains how the infinitely dense singularity expanded to the Universe that we see around us now. It never explains how that singularity got there. If you ask anybody knowledgeable in this subject what happened before the big bang you would get an answer saying there was no "before" as time was born with the big bang. But this is just the man-made time. There had to be a prior event to the big bang. This singularity had to be born, it couldn't have been always there. There had to be some sort of event that caused this speck to appear out of nowhere. I believe what happened for this speck to appear holds the key to the mysteries of the Universe. So far we've been able to (reasonably) explain majority of the stuff in the Universe, but no one has been able to provide a satisfying answer to what it was actually like "before" big-bang.
Let's assume for a moment that before the big-bang there was nothing. Complete and absolute nothingness. Now if in a few million years everything in our Universe gets destroyed, there would be nothing left. Also absolute nothingness. So nothingness always has, is and will be existing. Just like God. The speck of singularity appeared out of total nothingness. Many religions say God created the Universe. If you clear your mind and try to imagine what nothingness would look like eventually your brain would whimper and give up. Similarly, you cannot imagine God, what he looks like, where God is.
Why then, when there are so many similarities between God and Nothingness, can we not say God is Nothing?
My theory is that that nothingness is God. This is not the God that can do magic tricks etc. But this is nothingness has an intelligent mind that ignited this speck of singularity to expand to what the Universe is now over many many years.
This 'God' that is talked about in religion is a concept invented by man for protection, later turned into an item of commerce and a basis for power. Any child left free from the shackles of doctrines, tradition, beliefs ,and philosophies too ,will see for himself that a seed will grown into a tree and a tree in turn produces seed. There is progression of everything everywhere. What is hidden in the seed manifests into a tree - this is how things are.
Nothingness is the ultimate. If you try to get away from everything that was ever handed down to you in an attempt to 'see clearly', you are left with Nothingness. Bur since we see existence all around, it must follow that existence arose out of that Nothingness, that that Nothingness contained the seed of what is now. The seed of everything and the workings of everything reside in that Nothingness.

The big bang was created so that Stephen Hawkings could be thought of as a Guinness. He then states that there are black holes to back his THEORETICAL THEORY of existence. We also at one time believed that their was a missing link, the world was flat and the Spanish inquisition. The big bang theory will change soon with another idea. Always remember, just cause the majority of people believe something DOES NOT make it true.

How about a loop that is continually turning in on itself in every dimension. Space and time are both unexplainable, so maybe they explain each other when we, not connect them, but make them the same thing (in our minds).
Remember we have only limited perception of these concepts and there is more than what we perceive through our senses. If time were an object and you viewed it from only one point and there were two mirrors, one in front of you and that object and one behind you, that object would appear to repeat infinitely.
if space were the same in that you perceived it from only one vantage and similarly positioned mirrors made it appear to repeat infinitely as well, then all you would have to do is imagine that space were the mirrors for time and time were the mirrors for space. Since we have so little awareness, if any, of any point of view other than the one from which we are now perceiving, it's not hard to imagine that these two things could reflect each other and create the illusion of two separate things that are infinite.
So really there is nothing unfathomable about infinite time and infinite space, its just our perception of these two things, or our lack of perception of this one thing, that make it unfathomable.
We can only be here in this moment so there is no need to worry about the nature of everything else, but our mind is a metaphor for the universe and our obsession with understanding our own minds is what inspires us to strive to understand the universe in which we exist. If you eliminate all belief systems, you are left with the simple truth that after we die and before we are born we have no awareness of anything. So eliminate your preconceptions that the universe existed before it did and beyond its extents and... voila! problem solved... for you.

Sometimes I think its hard to understand the concept of creation because we were made specifically by something, which in case, was before our time frame. Its hard to see how nothingness could perfectly position the Earth for our survival. We sit in a spot that is perfect for the sun to keep us warm, and for vegetables, fruits, etc.. If we were any closer we would all be charcoal. There's also the matter of the moon, which the gravitational pull keeps the oceans tidal waves from submerging the land. If it was further away, well, BLUB, BLUB, BLUB..(LoL) Most of the planets in our solar system are nothing compared to ours. Mars is too hot. Pluto is too cold. (How dare they take that poor planet off the list!)

Sorry. Close but no cigar. You are somewhat right about time, though. Time is a measurement of entropy in a system. Mass/energy can exist in a space without time, and movement within that space can also occur without the existence of time as long as there is no entropy involved. Therefore there can be events without involving time.
Two definitions you should take to heart:
The Universe is the totality of existence.
Eternity is either time unending or the absence of time uninterrupted.

You are almost there paisa - GOD is not a man sitting on a throne somewhere - GOD is " spirit" ( you call it nothingness)
but nothingness means NOTHING, ZERO, ZILCH !!! Emptiness - We could not have come from NOTHINGNESS - It is imposible to arrive at something from NOTHING !!
GOD is spirit - Is Intelligence- GOD is NOT intelligent- GOD is LOVE, GOD does not love -GOD is LAW - GOD thought and it became - This Big Bang baloney, - They never tell you where those gases and dust came from - They never tell you WHO decided that H and 2O, together could become water.-
That is LAW and GOD is LAW -

To me it sounds as if you are suggesting that some sort of force field or something of that magnitude is what started everything and that this force isn't a God but a creator like being. It's an interesting theory but I don't agree it it but I do find it to be interesting. Thanks for your insight. My theory is that God created everything in a scientific way and that everything was created to evolve over time.

Sorry, it doesn't work. Your original premise is incorrect. You articulated your theory from the bias of a Westerner. Monotheism is only *one* view of how the universe began.
Your attempt was not to explain the universe, but to create a bridge for atheists and monotheists. I applaud the effort, but you overlooked some important information including physics and string theory.

WOW! Fascinating idea.
Maybe what we think of as nothingness is actually dark matter or matter that we just can't understand in our limited sciences yet.
Maybe that is what God is made from.

Plastic B, no wonder I find myself in TOTAL agreement with 'your' last two paragraphs: they are taken WORD-FOR-WORD from my answer to your question: God is nothing?
I rated that question of yours with one star only because more are not allowed.
What can I say? YOU sure are something!
