As a man I want to thank you for not taking the oh so convenient approach of bashing men . Hollywood does it every day now . Rarely is a man portrayed as anything more than a stupid dufuss with caveman like qualities .
Women's equal rights is cool , but many take it to the point of negating the value of a man . But not you .

WOW. I never realized how rare it has become to find that kind of humility coming from a woman in the past 30 years or so.
It's like a breath of fresh air after listening to all those in-your-face females we've gotten used to.
I think it's that in-your-face routine that makes Hilary unpopular with so many men. Yet women who show that calming strength possessed by Eleanore Roosevelt, and Margret Thatcher seemed to be highly respected or at least O.K. with most men.
How I wish women could learn from what this author has written.

Margert Thacher PM of England than called her the Iron lady.
Glodia Merer ( please forgive the spelling) of Israel when she was in charge. Just prior to the 6 day wars she told her denfense minster that you need to take out this land in 6 days or we aren't going to war. He later made the comment I rather fast the battle than go back to her.


Sally lives in the make believe world.

Women are just like men both human and both have the same strengths and weakness.

Some women think it is important to protect the den and other think nature will be kind to their children.

Young human beings (of both sexes) can be savages and villains. And it takes a lot of hard work to civilize them. Who do you think does most of that work? Let's see, ladies 93%, gentlemen 7%?

Mothers already rule the world.

Women ARE civilization, such as it is. Men are "guests."

Men run around with guns, toys and briefcases and a vast pretense of importance. How can that compare to the reality of a mother's love?

Don't look at savage little girls in the pre-civilized state and rule out women as a whole. They're still doing better than we men are. But if you want to know what a "mother-ruled" world would look like, just glance around.

Well, I thought Sally Field was pretty nice. Now I find out she is just one of those old Hollywood hags like Susan Sarandon that are far left Liberal Democrats. I don't know why these actors and actresses just can't keep their mouths shut about politics. She is permanently crossed off my list.

I believe there are girls like that but I don't believe they are in the majority. They usually do it within their cliques. But I agree, they can be hell on earth when they want to. I have never met a "woman" like that, especially somebody's mother.

I agree. My answer is coming late because I actually clicked on the links of the examples of motherhood that were provided. Those are some seriously sick women. I am baffled that the author failed to mention Amazon warriors..all female run tribe, and they are WARRIORS...
