the home run ichiro hit during the world series should be counted as an inside the park home run, and the ball sent to the hall.
I am sure the asterisk in the record book would mention that the ball bounced off an iregular angle. lol :)

Yes to lend more credit for such a feat! There are a lot of factors in hitting an in the park homer along with speed and determination,to many to list.

Umm... firstly it was the All Star Game
MLB approves ballpark dimensions, MLB chose where the All-star game was, so no.
It was an inside the park home run, the first in All Star history. That is why it is going to the hall.
Half inside the parkers are because of weird angles or bounces.
Don't mess with Ichiro.

A homerun is described as getting around all the bases to homeplate in an at bat. How they got their, whether by hitting the ball out of the park, off of an irregular angle, or even by a bunt is irrelevant.
